Job description

The role involves creating and verifying diagnostic test programs for NVIDIA's GPU products, ensuring they meet performance standards before delivery to manufacturing partners. As part of the system level test engineering group, the candidate will collaborate with various teams to resolve issues and improve program efficiency. The position requires a strong understanding of software and hardware interactions, particularly within the Linux operating system. The ideal candidate will be proactive and capable of driving projects with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly narrow down and solve issues in complex stacks of hardware and software.
  • Strong understanding of the Linux operating system, including low-level software drivers and kernel.
  • Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Build, validate, and support the manufacturing test programs for Data Center products.
  • Coordinate efforts with ASIC, ATE, systems/silicon validation, software, VBIOS, product engineering, and production teams to resolve test program issues.
  • Initiate and drive process improvements using existing automation frameworks and creating new tools.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
