Job description

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of related technical engineering experience, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of related technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide make-versus-buy recommendations to management based on complexity, financial impact, quality, reliability, and time duration.
  • Create robust, scalable, secure, and extensible designs and verification plans for hardware engineering aspects of complex products.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex technical and design challenges involving multiple variables.
  • Review documentation to ensure appropriate test requirements are included in hardware designs and specifications.
  • Generate project implementation schedules and monitor performance against those schedules.
