Job description

The Machine Learning Systems Firmware Team at Annapurna Labs is seeking candidates to develop data-driven software for advanced machine learning servers. The team focuses on building production software that initializes and monitors custom accelerator chips and peripherals. Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
  • Experience as a mentor or tech lead
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of computer architecture and operating systems
  • Knowledge of system performance and memory management principles

Responsibilities

  • Develop firmware to initialize, monitor, and manage custom machine learning accelerators at AWS scale.
  • Work with hardware, test, and manufacturing teams to create a coordinated software package.
  • Build systems software that initializes custom accelerator chips and monitors peripherals.
  • Create maintainable, documented, and tested software in languages such as C, C++, Python, and Lua.
