Job description

The Principal Software Engineer role in the Identity for Services (ID4S) Team at Microsoft focuses on developing and maintaining authentication and authorization components across various platforms. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture a high performing team.
  • Develop and maintain authentication and authorization components for various platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as leadership teams, product managers, service owners, and platform teams.
  • Make data-driven decisions based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Support service owners ensuring seamless integration.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to the overall improvement of the solution.
