Job description

The role involves building intelligent automation and tooling for security remediation at Amazon scale. The Augmented Remediation Insights & Architecture (ARIA) team focuses on utilizing LLMs and data-driven intelligence to enhance security operations. Engineers will work closely with stakeholders and customers to create best-in-class software solutions. The position emphasizes a passion for intelligent systems and the ability to take technical risks to improve security processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#

Responsibilities

  • Design and review architecture for security automation systems
  • Develop software features in Java and Python using AWS services
  • Build LLM automation and data insights capabilities at scale
  • Set and achieve high standards for operational excellence
  • Build partnerships with technical internal Amazon stakeholders
  • Conduct system resilience testing and preparation
  • Plan software projects using Agile methodologies
