The Software Engineer II position in the Integrations team at Amazon Redshift focuses on building systems that enhance Redshift clusters globally. The team is responsible for Drivers, Authentication flows, zero-ETL, and Ingestion. The role involves significant ownership of product vision, defining new features, and converting complex requirements into valuable projects. Engineers will also mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Build systems that benefit Redshift clusters across the world
- Define new features and architecture to enhance product vision
- Convert complex and ambiguous requirements into meaningful projects
- Own and code end-to-end deliverables from design to operations
- Lead engineers on substantial projects and mentor team members
