Amazon Lab126 is seeking a System Development Engineer for its Emerging Device Software team, which focuses on next-generation smart eyewear and wearable devices. The role involves designing and implementing scalable build and release infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices. The engineer will collaborate with developers, system architects, and hardware engineers to drive projects from design to execution. The team is responsible for defining architecture and maintaining the infrastructure for high availability and security.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of new tools, pipelines, and automation.
- Drive projects from design through planning to execution.
- Plan and coordinate feature improvements and upgrades around services.
- Analyze and improve the availability, efficiency, capacity, scalability, security, and performance of services.
- Represent systems while working with internal teams and external partners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with production systems as part of the on-call rotation.
- Develop and maintain tools.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software release process.
