Job description
The Intel Information Security organization is seeking a Network Security Engineer to assist in the design, architecture, and build of secure classified network products for U.S. Government operations. This role involves working with senior engineers to develop secure solutions that meet regulatory requirements. The candidate will play a key role in system security requirements and the implementation of security designs. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative technology advancements while ensuring the security of critical systems.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required due to legal restrictions.
- Ability to obtain an active U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of information technology experience.
- 3+ years of experience deploying and configuring Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
- 3+ years of experience with routing protocols such as BGP/OSPF and network segmentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with architecting network and network security products in secured enclaves.
- Support design and long-term roadmap planning for scalability in secure enclaves.
- Define system security requirements including authorization boundaries and security domains.
- Design security interfaces and trust relationships between system components.
- Implement system security designs using COTS, GOTS, and open-source solutions.
