Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
- Knowledge of CPU architecture.
- Courses in VLSI/Digital Design or related.
- Knowledge of coding languages like C/C++ and Python.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and perform functional validation for CPUs.
- Apply hardware and software tools to ensure validation coverage and meet performance goals.
- Review design changes to assess their impact on validation plans.
- Develop CPU validation methodologies and execute validation plans.
- Perform silicon debug to identify root causes of CPU issues.
- Test interactions between various CPU features using validation infrastructure.
- Develop postsilicon validation infrastructure and test environments.
- Publish CPU validation reports and communicate results to relevant teams.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, and manufacturing teams.
- Engage in all phases of the product life cycle and ensure silicon readiness.
