Job description

As a Software Development Engineer focused on secure channel solutions for AWS foundational services, you will design and develop secure, scalable communication channels. You will work closely with other engineers, security teams, and program managers to address complex security challenges. Your role emphasizes implementing robust encryption mechanisms to protect customer data in transit. The team values collaboration and continuous learning to craft innovative solutions for diverse AWS offerings.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop highly secure, scalable, and performant communication channels for AWS services
  • Implement robust encryption in transit mechanisms to protect customer data
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with SDEs, security teams, and program managers
  • Continuously optimize and harden secure communication channels to meet compliance requirements
  • Ensure seamless integration of secure channel solutions into the AWS ecosystem
