Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Build a massively scalable global security service that is core to all Amazon services.
  • Own the definition of best practices for the software development lifecycle used by junior engineers.
  • Work as part of cross-functional teams to develop secure solutions for customers.
  • Own the technology stack for one of the most secure and reliable services in Amazon.
  • Serve as a technical lead on demanding cross-functional projects.
  • Ensure the quality of architecture and design of systems.
  • Decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions.
  • Understand system interdependencies and limitations.
  • Possess expert knowledge in performance, scalability, and engineering best practices.
