Job description

The AWS Quick RAG team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to work on innovative retrieval-augmented generation technology that enhances Amazon Quick Suite's document processing and search functionalities. This role involves designing and building scalable ingestion pipelines for various content types, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with applied scientists. The position offers the chance to work with modern AWS technologies while addressing complex distributed systems challenges. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of experience as a software development engineer or in a related role
  • 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ingestion pipelines for processing millions of documents.
