Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a software engineering leader and manager.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-location team.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems, including multi-tier architectures and application security.
- A track record of leading engineering teams to meet high-stakes business goals.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration to advocate for team and business priorities.
- Strong skills in architecting and designing robust, high-scale systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team focused on enhancing ML and AI capabilities across Uber.
- Drive technical alignment with internal and partner teams.
- Own the execution and delivery of project roadmaps with high quality.
- Contribute to the engineering culture and uphold team processes.
- Mentor and develop a team of backend, ML, and infrastructure engineers.
- Facilitate technical decision-making using technical expertise.
- Recruit high-quality engineering talent for the team.
