Job description
The Senior Software Engineer in the Access Control team at Bloomberg will focus on building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications that ensure secure data access and entitlement enforcement. This team plays a crucial role in safeguarding Bloomberg's data through modern access control infrastructure. The engineer will work closely with business partners to architect solutions that protect sensitive data while minimizing human intervention. The role requires collaboration across engineering, infrastructure, and risk stakeholders to create reliable and scalable access systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and releasing high-quality software in C++, Java, C#, and/or Python.
- A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field of study, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Professional experience working in a Linux environment.
