The Consultant role in Business Consulting at EY focuses on assisting clients with business transformations by bridging strategy and execution across various industries. The position involves working closely with leadership teams to design and deliver solutions that encompass multiple capabilities, including financial management and performance reporting. This role requires managing and motivating diverse teams while maintaining long-term client relationships. Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Systems, Engineering, Economics, Social/Organizational Science or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
- Must have 4 years of experience leading business functions in transformation Program/PMO/EPMO/Portfolio design.
- Must have 3 years of external client-facing consulting experience in Business or technology consulting.
- Must have 3 years of professional services experience, with at least 1 year at a large, multinational consulting firm.
- Must have 2 years of external client-facing consulting experience in the commercial sector.
- Must have 1 year of experience in engagement financial planning and/or engagement financial management.
- Must have 1 year of experience supporting business development efforts, including developing Proof of Concept(s) and drafting SOWs.
- Must have 1 year of experience managing and developing a project team of staff/senior consulting professionals.
- Must have 1 year of experience supporting internal business strategies in areas such as learning and development or recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in delivering business transformations by connecting strategy and execution.
- Work directly with leadership teams to plan, design, deliver, and deploy solutions.
- Provide clients with maturity assessments and gap analyses.
- Design governance models including Transformation Management Offices and Program Management Offices.
- Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
- Deliver quality client services by monitoring progress and maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Cultivate business development opportunities and support the RFP process.
