The Senior Electrical Engineer will work with Jacobs' Federal group as an owner’s representative on various projects. This role requires a self-motivated and organized individual who can effectively collaborate with multi-discipline teams. The engineer will provide expert electrical engineering insights and participate in quality control during construction. A strong focus on customer service and communication skills is essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- An active Secret Security Clearance is required; Top Secret is preferred.
- US Citizenship is mandatory.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university is necessary.
- Attainment of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferable.
- A minimum of ten years of related experience in commercial or government office building design and construction is required.
Responsibilities
- Act as a consultant in establishing design standards and criteria for construction projects.
- Provide expert electrical engineering comments based on established requirements.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance during construction.
- Coordinate with client colleagues, Project Managers, and other project team members as necessary.
- Assist in the development of reports, studies, and presentations.
