Apple's Events, Streaming and Broadcast Services (ESB) team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and maintain software development for events and streaming applications. The role focuses on infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and operational support for large-scale backend systems in hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about automation, cloud-native technologies, and leveraging AI to enhance software delivery. • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Software Development
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• 5+ years of experience in Python or other programming languages
• Experience in Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration as Code
• Working experience with the SDLC, including Continuous Integration and Agile development practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code systems like Pulumi and Terraform
• Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Grafana, and GitOps
• Experience developing Microservices and REST APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCE
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with development environments such as Xcode and Swift
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate
• Detail-oriented, analytical, methodical, and creative thinker committed to driving quality forward
• Self-motivated and passionate about DevOps

• Support engineering teams and provide operational support for large-scale backend systems
• Enhance CI/CD capabilities and manage Kubernetes deployments across multi-cloud and on-prem environments
• Develop custom tools to boost developer efficiency
• Explore and integrate Generative AI to optimize processes
