We are looking for software engineers to develop high-speed interconnect technologies for GPUs and high-performance computing servers. The role involves close collaboration with hardware architects and software experts to innovate in data centers. Candidates should possess strong C++ programming skills and a solid understanding of systems software and hardware architecture. Excellent communication and meticulous engineering practices are essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a related hardware/software position
- Strong C/C++ programming and Python skills
- Familiarity with computer architecture and ability to work close to the hardware
- Background with PCIE, NVLink, or server IO technologies like Infiniband or Ethernet is a plus
- Previous experience working on a large system software code base is preferable
- Very strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Ability to self-manage, show leadership, and have good interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Work closely with architecture, hardware, and driver teams through the product development lifecycle of computing and graphics processors
- Craft software tools and infrastructure required for new chip development, validation, and productization
- Assess new hardware features and architect diagnostic software using pre-beta CUDA extensions
- Understand the hardware and software architectures to provide robust solutions
