Job description

Apple's Employee Experience and Productivity group is seeking a Functional Engineer to lead Revenue and Reconciliation projects. This role involves developing and integrating software solutions to support various business functions within Apple Finance, iTunes, App Store, Sales, Retail, Apple Care, and Apple Online. The team focuses on creating engineered custom solutions for high-volume micro-transactions using advanced technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and leadership skills, along with exceptional communication abilities to collaborate across multiple teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing and integrating software in a professional capacity
  • 3 years of experience on the full software development lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
  • Proficiency in data handling and debugging with a focus on implementing reusable and maintainable solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related work experience
  • Strong communication skills to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas with peers and IT management
  • Good understanding of technologies like Java, Linux, Database Querying, and scripting
  • Experience with tooling languages such as Python and integrations with internal and external systems
