Job description

The Senior Power Integrity Co-Design Engineer role at NVIDIA focuses on architecting and delivering di/dt mitigation across silicon, package, board, and platform. The position is part of the Silicon Codesign Group, which emphasizes collaboration and innovation in an AI-enabled engineering environment. The engineer will bridge architecture, silicon, and platform, translating product noise targets into specifications while applying AI techniques to enhance power integrity work. Success in this role requires strong systems thinking and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of experience in silicon power integrity, voltage noise, or PDN.
  • Deep expertise in di/dt analysis and mitigation, voltage droop, PDN design, transient noise, or decap budgeting.
  • Hands-on silicon experience including bring-up, characterization, and correlation.
  • Strong instincts for Sim-to-Si correlation and the ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Proven use of AI techniques in noise modeling, transient prediction, and automated correlation checks.
  • Ability to drive decisions through multi-functional collaboration and own specifications through sign-offs.

Responsibilities

  • Define product-level voltage noise targets and ensure their closure and sign-off at shipment.
  • Architect voltage noise mitigation strategies across silicon, package, board, and platform.
  • Co-design noise features with various teams including Speed/Power/Reliability and ASIC.
  • Build and lead the Sim-to-Si correlation methodology for voltage noise.
  • Model and prototype next-generation noise features such as transient sense and mitigation IP.
  • Lead the resolution of critical noise bugs during product bring-up.
  • Drive architecture-level trade-offs across voltage, frequency, power, noise, reliability, and thermal boundaries.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
