NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design Group is seeking a versatile engineer to innovate low-power silicon validation and system bring-up for AI and accelerated computing platforms. The role involves scaling validation processes using AI-powered analytics and intelligent automation. The engineer will work at the intersection of silicon architecture, platform validation, and productization, influencing the power efficiency and stability of NVIDIA products. This position requires collaboration across various teams to develop methodologies and workflows that enhance production readiness.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in silicon characterization, low-power feature validation, system integration, or post-silicon productization.
- Strong understanding of silicon power behavior, firmware interactions, and system-level validation methodologies.
- Experience building scalable automation, telemetry analytics, or AI-assisted engineering workflows for silicon validation.
- Strong fundamentals in digital design, computer architecture, power analysis, and scripting/programming skills.
- Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, lab validation, and debug methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Define the Power & Performance validation strategy across product lines.
- Build intelligent workload characterization frameworks using telemetry and AI-assisted analytics.
- Define instrumentation, telemetry frameworks, and firmware hooks for scalable silicon observability.
- Bring up and validate system-level low-power features in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
- Develop AI/ML-assisted infrastructure for telemetry analysis and predictive validation analytics.
- Partner with various teams to build scalable validation pipelines and modern engineering workflows.
- Support manufacturing and customer-facing teams in resolving production and feature issues.
- Drive low-power feature readiness from architecture definition through product release.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
