Job description
The role of PHY Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designer at Apple involves working on innovative challenges to create products that enhance people's lives. This position requires expertise in transistor level Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designs and participation in all phases of high-performance PHY designs. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven understanding of all aspects of Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit Design of PHYs.
- Experience with TX, RX, Delay Locked Loops, Phase Interpolators, Delay Lines, and Duty Cycle Correctors.
- Knowledge of Basic SoC Architecture and HDL languages like Verilog.
- Solid understanding of Circuit Verification tools such as Simulators, Extraction, EMIR, Noise, and SigEM.
Responsibilities
- Perform transistor level Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designs.
- Collaborate with Layout Teams on the physical implementation of PHY designs.
- Generate block and chip level specifications.
- Perform block level verification to meet performance, power, and area specifications.
- Participate in establishing Design Methodologies for accurate designs.
