The Hardware Test Engineering group at Apple is focused on developing technologies and methodologies for calibrating and testing cameras and sensors in Apple products. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physical Sciences.
• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Extensive knowledge of camera technologies including image sensor operation and image processing.
• Expertise in camera and image quality measurement.
• Proficiency in Python for tool development and data analysis.
• Strong software design skills including data structures and algorithms.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physical Sciences.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Knowledge of computational imaging and sensor fusion.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing test environments.
• Strong background in data analysis and statistics.
• Proven experience designing AI-driven automated workflows.
• Experience using LLMs and autonomous agents.
• Hands-on experience developing custom skills for AI agents.
• Ability to identify solutions to systemic problems.
