The Video Applications team at Apple is seeking a senior software engineer to develop best-in-class video products like Final Cut Pro and iMovie. This role involves designing and implementing high-quality features that impact millions of creative professionals. The engineer will tackle complex technical challenges using cutting-edge frameworks on both iOS and macOS. Collaboration with other engineers across the Video Apps teams is essential to push the boundaries of professional video editing.

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with SwiftUI/Swift or UIKit/AppKit
• 3+ years of proven experience working with Objective-C
• Strong understanding of software engineering and computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Track record of technical excellence in code, documentation, and engineering practices
• Proven ability to break down large features into practical, implementable solutions
• Experience working on large, cross-functional, multi-team projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a highly collaborative environment
• Self-directed problem solver who can work independently and drive initiatives to completion
• Customer focus and ability to make high-quality, user-centric product and technical decisions
• Experience creating and refining APIs for adoption by other teams and developers
