Job description
As a Product RF Design Engineer at Apple, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on advancing wireless technology for innovative products. You will leverage your expertise in RF design and electromagnetic theory to influence the development of current and future Apple products. The role involves collaboration with various teams to optimize RF/Wireless functionality and ensure successful product integration. Your contributions will play a crucial role in the transition from prototype to mass production.
Requirements
- BSEE or equivalent education is required.
- Coursework or experience in antenna/RF design, wireless communications, EM, or circuits is necessary.
- Experience in antenna design, including simulation and architecture investigation, is essential.
- Hands-on experience with RF lab instrumentation is required.
- Ability to debug desense issues and characterize noise sources is needed.
- Experience in RF schematic and PCB layout practices and guidelines is important.
Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in all aspects of product design from concept to final production.
- Collaborate closely with wireless and software architects, industrial designers, and product designers.
- Support manufacturing teams from the prototype phase to mass production.
- Utilize electromagnetic and system simulation to understand complex system interactions.
- Conduct RF measurements and analyze data to inform product design trade-offs.
