Job description

The role is for an experienced Product Manager on the ASO Platform Product management team at Apple, focusing on enhancing the e-commerce experience for online customers. This position involves collaborating with various cross-functional partners to evolve platform architecture while maintaining existing operations. The ideal candidate will drive significant growth initiatives and ensure seamless, personalized digital commerce experiences. A strong technical background is essential to bridge business, design, and engineering efforts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of combined experience in Product Management or Project/Program Management, specifically in e-commerce or consumer digital experiences.
  • Full professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, including speaking, reading, and writing.
  • A BA/BS in Computer Science or a technical degree, or 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency with new technologies like AI and Deep Learning and their applications in digital commerce.
  • Familiarity with 3rd Party e-commerce marketplace integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead significant growth initiatives for Apple Retail's e-commerce platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to evolve platform architecture.
  • Drive projects that deliver platform upgrades and optimize tools and processes.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Guide critical architecture decisions and drive the adoption of cloud-native patterns.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
