Job description
In this role, you will be a key member of the innovative GNSS design team at Apple, focusing on developing GNSS technology and SoC for ultra-low-power location-based applications. You will work alongside industry-leading experts in the cellular industry, contributing to technology that impacts millions globally. The position requires strong programming skills and extensive experience in GNSS or Cellular silicon validation. You will also engage in hardware design and verification, utilizing various lab equipment and digital interfaces.
Requirements
- BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience are required.
- Strong programming skills in Python are required, with knowledge of C/C++ and other scripting languages.
- 8+ years of proven experience in GNSS or Cellular silicon validation is necessary.
- MSEE or higher is preferred.
- Experience in wireless system or silicon validation is required.
- Knowledge of wireless SoC, microprocessor, memory, peripherals, and I/O characterization is essential.
- Familiarity with digital interfaces such as USB, SPMI, SPI, UART, I2C, and JTAG is required.
- Experience with lab equipment such as logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators is necessary.
- Experience in hardware design, verification, board design, FPGA, and schematics/layout is required.
- Knowledge of version control (Git), issue tracking tools (JIRA), Jama, and Confluence is essential.
- Validation knowledge of wireless systems, digital signal processing, and statistics is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
