Job description

Amazon Security is seeking a Software Development Engineer to enhance security visibility and observability across its Stores businesses. The team is focused on building solutions that enable actionable interpretation of security data from various sources. This role offers the opportunity to influence security practices across all Amazon business verticals and support the integration of newly acquired companies. Candidates will work in an agile environment and contribute to maintaining high security standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Work on both frontend and backend development tasks.
  • Participate in tech designs and discussions to make informed technology choices.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Promote best practices in software development, including documentation and testing.
  • Collaborate in an agile development environment.
