The role involves shaping the future of video entertainment at Prime Video by solving complex problems within large-scale systems. Candidates will work on Ad Measurement systems that directly impact ad monetization and revenue. The position requires a solid background in modern programming languages and distributed system design. Successful candidates will be part of a team that builds high-availability, low-latency systems for live and VOD content.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Build and design high availability, high-throughput, low-latency systems
- Develop public-facing services and other large-scale distributed systems
- Work across teams to manage dependencies and collaborate with peer teams
- Handle day-to-day operations of the systems
