Job description
The role involves building and owning the MAC Analyzer and MAC feature automation framework, focusing on automation, data analytics, and MAC domain expertise. The engineer will develop tools that democratize MAC-level diagnostics, enabling teams to run analyses without deep expertise. This position emphasizes the creation of automated workflows and analytical pipelines to enhance MAC feature validation across releases. The goal is to ensure robust automated validation with minimal manual intervention.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Strong communication skills to work with domain experts
Responsibilities
- Design and develop the MAC Analyzer tool with ML-based anomaly detection and predictive capabilities.
- Build self-improving analytical pipelines that automate triage, root cause analysis, and reporting from raw telemetry data.
- Create intuitive interfaces that make MAC diagnostics accessible to non-domain experts.
- Design, develop, and maintain an automated test framework covering MAC features integrated into the release qualification loop.
- Automate scenario-based testing for complex MAC configurations with traffic generation tools.
- Build regression suites with comprehensive test coverage metrics and collaborate with the release team.
