The Senior Software Engineer role focuses on Generative AI and Creative Optimization for YouTube Ads at Google. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment and optimization.
  • 1 year of experience with GenAI techniques or concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug by analyzing sources of issues.
  • Develop machine learning models and infrastructure for creative generation and optimization.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
  • Debug issues and contribute to the overall stability and improvement of the team's infrastructures.
