Job description

The role is for a candidate to join the Architecture team within EY's Client Technology's Technology Strategy and Architecture function. The main focus is on defining and delivering architectures and designs for business-critical global products and platforms. The candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure alignment with EY's mission and strategy while addressing complex problems. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or Economics.
  • 15+ years of overall IT industry experience, with 5+ years in a solution or technical architect role.
  • Expert-level skills in defining, designing, and developing distributed and scalable products and platforms.
  • Hands-on deep experience in one or more specialization of solution and technical architecture roles.
  • Achieved one or more typical solution and technical architecture certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships across the business to understand their requirements and help them build product/platform roadmaps.
  • Own the overall technology, architecture, and design landscape of the product/platform from solutioning to delivery.
  • Lead a team of architects in a portfolio or large product, setting the overall technology and architecture direction.
  • Solve complex problems and present various options to the business with appropriate recommendations.
  • Provide leadership in product delivery to build and consume reusable functional and technical assets.
