The role is focused on evaluating and underwriting GP stakes investments in alternative asset management firms within Blackstone Strategic Partners. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or related occupations.
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word for presentations.
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Factset, S&P CapitalIQ, or similar market data providers.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and underwrite GP stakes investments in alternative asset management firms.
- Conduct sector and asset class research leveraging industry reports and primary sources.
- Analyze public and private transaction valuation trends using public filings and proprietary data.
- Develop financial models and analyses, including discounted cash flows and scenario analysis.
- Participate in diligence calls to assess management teams and investment strategies.
- Draft memoranda for internal and external use.
- Present investment research and valuation analysis during team discussions.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and conduct quarterly valuations.
