The Vice President of Software Engineering at Goldman Sachs Bank USA is responsible for developing and maintaining the firm's software solutions to support global business operations. • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and three years of experience in a software engineering role, or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields with five years of experience.
• Experience with C++ or Java.
• Experience in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support.
• Experience building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within a Unix environment.
• Familiarity with programming technologies including Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Experience with relational database management systems such as Sybase or Oracle.
• Knowledge of micro-services architecture design and development including REST and Spring.
• Proficiency in database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB.

• Design, implement, and maintain robust testing suites for scalable solutions.
