Job description

The Managed Strategies engineering team is focused on building and maintaining portfolio management and trading platform infrastructure to enhance efficiency and client experience. This full-stack engineering role involves application development primarily in Java, with opportunities for UI development in Angular. The engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Portfolio Managers and Operations teams, to implement software solutions for managed strategies. The position requires familiarity with distributed services and the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Prior industry experience developing in Java, Angular, and NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistance and skill development
  • Experience with micro-services, Java deployments, and DevOps tools such as Gitlab
  • Full understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent time management and organizational skills
