This role involves designing the next generation of fulfillment centers and logistics systems at Amazon. The team seeks innovative engineers who will take ownership of complex projects from concept to design approval. Engineers will collaborate with internal and external teams to create high-quality, cost-effective solutions. The position offers opportunities to work on a variety of projects, including automated fulfillment centers and transportation centers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
- Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technology, Science, Operations Research, Robotics, Mathematics or related fields, or an Associate's degree or above with experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external teams to design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
- Own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization through design approval.
- Act as the primary technical contact for suppliers on assigned projects.
- Ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of designed systems by engaging with the Ops Engineering team.
