Job description

The role involves leading a team of software and firmware developers to design and develop server software at AWS scale, focusing on machine learning acceleration systems. The team is dedicated to building reliable firmware for accelerated servers and improving system reliability for AWS Trainium products. Candidates will work closely with hardware developers and engineers to ensure high-quality service and operational effectiveness. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of systems software or firmware engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
  • Experience managing teams or serving as a mentor or tech lead.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software and firmware developers to design and develop server software.
