The role involves joining the Nitro Firmware Team as a Software Development Engineer, focusing on the integration and updating of firmware for EC2 hardware. Requirements
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 6+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- 3+ years of computer science fundamentals experience
- 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate firmware for EC2 hardware components.
- Conduct software design reviews and code reviews.
- Implement automated test development and monitoring.
- Collaborate with Principal engineers, silicon designers, and hardware engineers.
- Measure firmware performance and ensure its functionality at scale.
