We are looking for software engineers to join our team focused on the architecture of NVIDIA GPU Diagnostic Software. The role involves collaborating with various teams, including kernel driver, GPU architecture, and system design, to develop applications for high-performance computing servers. Candidates should have strong programming skills in C++, a solid understanding of operating systems, and current hardware architecture. Excellent communication and meticulous engineering practices are essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a related hardware/software position
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Familiarity with computer architecture and ability to work close to the hardware
- Background with kernel driver usage and programming is a plus
- Previous experience working on a large system software code base is preferable
- Very strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Ability to self-manage, show leadership, and have good interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Work closely with architecture, hardware, and driver teams throughout the product development lifecycle of CPU and GPU
- Craft software tools and infrastructure required for new chip development, validation, and productization
- Assess new hardware features and architect manufacturing diagnostic tests using pre-beta CUDA and kernel driver extensions
- Utilize knowledge of operating systems, algorithms, and computer architecture to provide robust and efficient solutions
