Job description
The AWS Neuron Compiler team is looking for skilled compiler engineers to develop a cutting-edge deep learning compiler stack. This role involves optimizing application models from frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX, while working with AWS's custom Machine Learning accelerators. As a ML Compiler engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize features for the compiler, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system-wide performance. The position emphasizes mentorship and career growth within a supportive team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Proficiency with 1 or more programming languages, preferably C++
- 2+ years of experience in optimization algorithms, graph-theory, or hardware resource management
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing
- M.S. or Ph.D. in computer science or related field
- Strong knowledge in compiler design, instruction scheduling, and memory allocation
- Experience with LLVM and/or MLIR
- Experience with developing algorithms for simulation tools
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or JAX
- Experience in LLM, Vision, or other deep-learning models
Responsibilities
- Solve challenging technical problems at every layer of the stack.

- Participate in design discussions and code reviews.
