Job description

This role is focused on leading the architectural design and development of AI-powered HR support solutions within Amazon's Employee Services Technology team. The team aims to transform employee experiences by combining AWS services with generative AI. You will mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence while ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable. The position offers opportunities for collaboration with product stakeholders and participation in cross-team technical initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team
  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design and development of critical platform features
