Job description
As a Hardware Engineering Intern at Apple, you will support the electrical and system design and integration of various Apple products, including the Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, iPad, Watch, and Mac computers. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that aim to enhance customer experiences. This role involves assisting in engineering processes related to design, integration, testing, and qualification of electrical sub-systems. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to tackle challenges and contribute to groundbreaking technology.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At the end of the internship, you must return to school to continue your education or the internship must be the last requirement for you to graduate.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Python, Perl, SQL, Assembly, or VHDL.
- Experience using measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Experience interpreting schematics and debugging circuits via FPGA or PCBs.
Responsibilities
- Support electrical and system design and integration of Apple products.
- Assist in engineering processes that support design, integration, implementation, testing, and qualification of electrical sub-systems.
- Engage in camera, touch, and display engineering tasks including optics and mechanical design.
- Participate in wireless technologies projects such as antenna design and RF system validation.
- Contribute to ASIC/VLSI tasks including RTL design, verification, and power design.
- Aid in system development through electrical system design and integration.
- Work on audio, acoustics, and optical hardware design and integration.
- Develop low-level microcontroller code and firmware solutions.
