The role involves leading engineering projects to develop and deliver innovative equipment for Amazon's delivery stations. The WW Equipment Engineering Innovation team seeks an experienced engineer to drive end-to-end equipment development and enhance vendor capabilities. This position requires collaboration with various internal and external teams to create high-quality solutions for last mile delivery systems. The successful candidate will manage complex initiatives and advocate for customer needs while working in a fast-paced environment.

• 5+ years of design and innovation, research and development work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent
• Experience in management of engineering design projects
• Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
• Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, and statistical analysis
• Experience with complex automated material handling equipment and design-in-safety

• Act as the WW technical expert for equipment development, leading equipment testing and validation.
• Lead idea generation for innovative design and equipment solutions to operational problems.
• Create documentation for equipment solutions, including design definitions and quality specifications.
• Generate structured plans to turn innovative equipment design solutions from ideas to implementation.
• Own and deliver against plans, providing network reporting and leadership approval for program progression.
• Provide technical expertise to other Engineering teams and challenge suppliers and partners.
• Build large-scale business proposals based on innovative designs for WW Ops Engineering.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing requests and meeting needs promptly.
• Own internal process innovations across the Engineering Org and ensure roadmap delivery.
• Coordinate with Tech/Software teams to drive operational execution of software enhancements.
• Travel up to 50% regionally and worldwide depending on business needs.
