Job description

The Apple Business Systems Engineering Manager leads a technical pre-sales team of Systems Engineers, focusing on building relationships with enterprise customers and ensuring their investments in Apple technologies are successful. This role emphasizes the importance of technical sales consulting and support, transforming the way people work. The manager encourages and holds the team accountable while driving technical journeys and aligning sales strategies. A strong emphasis is placed on integrity, empathy, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience leading remote/field-based sales engineering, technical pre-sales teams, or quota-carrying sales teams.
  • Experience advising on or architecting technical business transformation solutions for large enterprises or at least 3 years of experience in a consultative pre-sales engineering role.
  • Demonstrate capability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to tell compelling stories through presentation software.
  • Comfortable developing relationships with key stakeholders and executives while driving results with technical resources.
  • Demonstrate IS/IT knowledge with experience in AI implementations, enterprise security, networking, and communications technologies.
  • Ability to articulate the benefits of modern deployment methods to enterprise customers.
