The Engineering Project Manager (EPM) role within the AI & Data Platforms team at IS&T focuses on orchestrating the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives that significantly impact the business. This team combines data analytics, machine learning, and application development to enhance Apple's operational efficiency. The EPM will lead diverse engineering teams and collaborate with cross-functional partners, ensuring a user-centric approach to project management. The position requires a strong technical understanding and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience in a data or software engineering role, with a strong understanding of data warehouse and RDBMS principles and practices.
- 3+ years of managing engineering projects, bringing multiple teams together and marching towards common objectives.
- Demonstrated experience with database design, SQL, and optimization techniques, particularly in the context of large-scale data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical related field, or international degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 1+ years of experience managing complex data projects, including those with AI/ML components.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects that leverage data for advanced analytics and AI.
