The role involves providing high-level applications support for complex Overlay measurement systems within KLA. The candidate will work closely with various divisions, including engineering and sales, and engage with customer engineers to enhance tool performance. This position emphasizes innovation and collaboration, requiring a strong technical background in engineering or related fields. The successful candidate will also contribute to product development and customer support initiatives.

• Must have MS/PhD in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Material Science or related fields and strong technical background.
• Preferred work experiences in semiconductor processing or equipment industry.
• Must have excellent communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be self-driven and a strong team player.

• Work closely with different organizations within KLA and with customer engineers to provide applications support.
• Manage in-house customer demonstrations and head-to-head activities at customer sites.
• Design experiments to characterize tool performance and demonstrate product value.
• Develop recipes to model complex optical applications and optimize tool performance.
• Provide escalation support to onsite field service engineers.
• Characterize next generation overlay measurement products and design test plans.
• Form training materials and transfer new production knowledge to the worldwide apps support team.
• Collaborate with the division system and algo team to develop software offline tools for data analysis.
