• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

• Design, implement and maintain widely used rate limiting services within Google.
• Collect, refine and prioritize feature requests from users of the rate-limiting service and architect an execution plan to implement them.
• Debug planet scale distributed systems and diagnose production issues.
• Communicate and collaborate with partners including SRE and current and future users of the service.
