Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in electronics packaging, server systems, data center, or related industry.
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with mechanical product design and documentation using 3D CAD tools is preferred.
  • Experience in designing and analyzing with detailed tolerance analysis and tolerance loop methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience in evaluating and designing infrastructure systems in the IT and data center spaces is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical leader with in-depth design and architectural knowledge of IT equipment and data centers.
  • Lead projects to resource and enable qualification of products from concept design to final production and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and external vendors to maintain and improve design and development processes.
  • Contribute to overall system architecture from chip to chiller to optimize total cost of ownership of IT infrastructure.
  • Develop holistic designs and architectures from package to data center level optimizing for cost and efficiency.
  • Develop appropriate specifications and test procedures to ensure desired reliability and performance of electronic equipment.
