As a Forward Deployed Engineer II in Generative AI at Google Cloud, you will act as an embedded builder, bridging the gap between AI products and production-grade solutions for customers. You will work closely with customer engineering teams to ensure successful project outcomes and high user adoption. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development using Python or similar coding languages.
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch for customers.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases and RAG-like architectures.

• Serve as a developer for AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade workflows.
• Architect and code the integration between Google’s AI products and customer infrastructure.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks for agentic systems.
• Identify field patterns and friction points in Google’s AI stack to create reusable modules.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to instill Google-grade development best practices.
