Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License
  • United States Citizenship
  • At least 10 years of experience working in a corporate engineering environment
  • Strong mentorship focus to develop future engineers
  • Exposure to medium voltage and high voltage designs
  • Exposure to SCADA design
  • Exposure to large motors and harmonic analysis
  • Exposure to heavy industrial design applications
  • Exposure to site medium voltage distribution

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with supporting staff.
  • Design and perform calculations related to medium voltage distribution systems and large motor loads.
  • Prepare load analysis for different stages of design.
  • Oversee the preparation of drawings detailing system design.
  • Prepare basis of design reports.
  • Design grounding and lightning protection systems.
  • Design redundant electrical systems and mitigate hazardous area concerns.
  • Coordinate designs with engineers and architects of other disciplines.
  • Facilitate construction administration.
